I had a week off (well since I last posted). I really haven't done much shooting lately, due to a number things... weather, work and sickness... excuses excuses!!

Friday night we motored down to Sussex Inlet to spend less 36hrs chilling with our favourite Kiwi friends. Man it is difficult leaving Sydney in peak hour on a Friday, you all have the same idea as us? Close to 2hrs from Bondi to Waterfall. Yikes!
After only a couple hours of sleep I did a solo mission back to 'that wave' (see beast post) to try and catch a few as the sun rose. Not the most ideal swell or tidal conditions and the wait times were a little long but I still caught managed some intriguing shots. Now I really need to go back when it's BIG!
The rest of Saturday was just perfect. We spent it out in the sun teaching the kids how to catch waves. Berrara, the beach of choice ~ On the way back into town I was stoked to pull into the Ocean Earth factory store. I've always loved their stuff and I'm pretty chuffed with my purchases!! Comfiest boardies around and a new waterproof jacket, great for mornings like today!
We had an awesome time down there... damn good food, drinks, games and plenty of laughs. Thank you so much for invite Codd family. I wish we could have stayed longer. Next time :-) Yep, I'm inviting myself back LOL
