As you may know (if you follow heatwaves on IG) we've been down the coast these past few days enjoying some R & R. It's been a long year and a couple of days away has done us the world of good. For the most part the camera stayed hidden, sleep and afternoon chills watching the Ashes took priority.

Not today though~ I set the alarm early.. 4:00am early! I went for a drive to a spot which Seb has been pestering me to visit for ages, and it didn't disappoint - Thanks mate, I should have gone earlier. This wave is a freak of nature, even with a piddly 1-2ft swell like today is still a BEAST. The water swishes around, smashes into the rocks, bounces into other waves and shoots up into the sky as it hits the shallow reef. Wow, just Wow! I cannot wait to get back on a increased swell.

Back in Sydney now, ready to hit Bondi as the mercury rises tomorrow. Looks like it's going to be another hot one :-)
