Sixth day of summer.
Started off with coastal showers; but not enough to block or dampen the colourful beginning. Then the day quickly turned blue, blue, blue and will stay like this for the next few days!! Another sensational weekend ahead.

I woke up to my normal shooting alarm time (5am - so early at the moment) and poked my head out the door. I only saw dark and ominous clouds above, and for a split second I almost went back to bed. Thankfully I stepped out a little further and caught a glimpse of a soft pink hue in the direction of the Pacific. That's all I needed to hustle myself along down to the beach. I was greeted with soft rain hitting the windshield. Argh! This would temporarily restrict the locations as to where I could shoot as I tried to minimise any droplets on the end of the lens.
Rain >> ON / OFF / ON / OFF
The sun came up and the rain paused. Allowing for the camera to come out of hibernation to shoot an interesting splash of orange splashed up over the Bergs. Good day to be there as it had just been cleaned and was on the refill cycle.
I wondered around Mid - South Bondi taking pics of surfers out on the diminishing swell and other random bits and bobs. There's always something to shoot in Bondi! On the swell front don't expect much in the morning; maybe a slight increase in the arvo. Still worth getting up early ... Friday + Sunshine :-)
Have a good night, see you in the morning.
