New York street view
~
Ever been to NYC!? It's my second time and it continues to blow my mind. It's MASSIVE! Concrete and steel structures everywhere... corridors of high rise; higher rise and the highest rise skyscrapers. You struggle to understand just how many buildings and people they fit into such a small place. Makes Sydney feel spread out :-)
Our feet are wrecked; swollen and sweaty. In the past few days we've walked miles upon miles on these sun soaked concrete pathways. It's so hot and humid here (30+ degrees, with 70% humidity), way more than I though it would be.Thank goodness for the air conditioned subway trains, cabs, ferries and buses or I think our feet would have fallen off.
So far we've ticked some boxes.. these include but not limited to..
Downtown - charging bull ✔ financial district✔ WTC ✔ Brooklyn & Manhattan bridges ✔ AMAZING PIZZA (will definitely go back!!) ✔
Midtown - Times Sq. ✔ Broadway ✔ (hoping to see a show in the next few days... any recommendations!?) B&H Photo ✔ (world's largest photography store - anyone want to sponsor Heatwaves?? I could do some serious $$$ damage in here.
Uptown - Upper east side ✔ Harlem for some seriously delicious soul food (fried chicken, waffles and mac'n cheese (will go back here too!!) ✔
Today I believe we're off to Central Park for a bit of a rest day and to check out their zoo. It will be nice to get back to nature (or the closest thing to it). It will one of the first parks we've been into since we arrived. Saturday, catching a ferry to see a statue??
Enjoy the pics of this urban jungle, more to come.

As usual, you amaze me painting ideas with your camera.
I know Brooklyn Bridge, crossing it, walking… and I never realized the spiderweb you show me trough your lens. I keeps away lazy clouds, and create a lion’s cage which echoes forgoten emotions
Thanks Adam
