Happy Monday; hope you had a brilliant start to your week.
Today's post is a wrap of the weekend, a superb Autumn weekend it was. A Saturday surf session in pumping offshore conditions at Bronte and Maccas; then two vibrant sunrises Sunday and Monday. I had my right index finger firmly pressed to the shutter all weekend and took a few too many shots. I will get round to editing the rest soon.
Sunday morning I was asked by a passerby "Is there an app to tell you when there's going to be a decent sunrise?". No app and I'm so very glad there isn't. The old fashioned alarm clock and persistence game makes the sweet surprise of a stunning glow that much more rewarding. She did ask me this because there were a thousand plus photographers lined up, tripods out, surrounding the pool and there had just been a corker. Had she been missing out on something that we all knew?? Nope, this is just your standard Bronte weekend and it can get feisty down there... don't you dare get in someone else's shot... my friend Nikki found out the hard way!! #crankypants #enjoyshooting #smile
