After what I saw as I drove past the beach this morning I did not expect to be up editing photos at all tonight. But, this afternoon was awesome. The swell was very much up and we had some decent lumps thumping though. The fierce, first day of winter gusts also blasted their way up the coast making it bloody cold to shoot, let alone getting wet. Overall the afternoon was excellent, rainbows, clouds, surfing and the occasional break of sunshine... plus it is Friday.
I stayed around till all surfers had exited the water (or at least all that I could see). I was mucking around with my Canon's 5Dmk4's ISO settings and seeing how far I could push them for a decent image. Take a look at the last image, it was taken at ISO 12800... Crazy!! I can't believe I was even able to take this shot it was that dark!
Hoping that tomorrow morning will be much of the same as this arvo ~
Have a brilliant weekend, Adam
