Good evening, happy Sunday~
Perfect 10 today; in fact I would give it a higher score. I didn't see a single cloud all day as the gorgeous blue skies blanketed the entire sky.
I didn't have access to my car this morning, so I set the alarm for a few minutes earlier than normal and wandered down under the cover of darkness. So cold! As I plodded along in my not so warm shorts and thongs I shivered like crazy. By far the coldest morning of the year so far. Roughly 10 degrees (I didn't look). I walked past the golf course and decided to wait, watch and shoot the sun rising from the top of the cliffs. It's such an amazing view from up there... soon to be an excellent whale watching vantage point! (Bring your binoculars).
I continued on in the morning gold to Bondi, then to Tama. Obviously had my walking thongs on today! The waves were small but the colour of the water was simply superb. Blues, turquoises and emerald greens painted the beaches. For the surfers out there tomorrow arvo we may see a slight increase in swell, 2/3ft from the South.
Ana met me back in Bondi, Icebergs were having their annual winter season kick off. Hundreds of members jumped into the Bergs holding aloft a large chunk of Ice. It truly turned into a giant Iceberg for a few moments. Maybe next year you will see us taking the plunge - we left it too late to register this year :-(
Hope you had a super weekend, catch you throughout the week.
Adam
